Video game publisher Gearbox Publishing and Cryptic Studios have announced that Star Trek Online: Incursion, the 30th season of their long-running Star Trek MMORPG is now available on PC and will launch on PlayStation and Xbox consoles on November 1st, 2023.
In this newest Star Trek Online season, players will face a new and dangerous Borg threat at Starbase One. As Starfleet battles to repel the Borg, a mysterious and powerful new ally emerges to help them.
PC players can now go up against the Borg in a new featured episode titled ‘Taken by Surprise’ where they can also participate in two new Task Force Operations (TFOs) as well as a new in-game event called ‘Borg Tesseract’.

Star Trek Online: Incursion picks up where last season’s Multiverse saga left off, with the Tholians’ misunderstanding tearing open the Reality Vortex and unleashing a new Borg threat. Players will join Captain Harry Kim, played by Garrett Wang, and Captain Kuumaarke, played by Kipleigh Brown, as they face this challenge together.
In addition, players will also have the opportunity to meet Captain Kim’s new astrophysicist, Commander Erin Macdonald, who was featured on Star Trek: Prodigy. Commander Macdonald is played by Erin Macdonald, a real-life astrophysicist, aerospace engineer, Star Trek science advisor, and host of the YouTube channel Dr. Erin Explains the Universe.
The new season brings stronger, ruthless, and more aggressive Borgs that’ll force the Starfleet to use all of their might, along with some unexpected help, to repel the Borg forces. Players can also unlock an additional Starship Trait Slot, Universal Console Slot, and Device Slot with many other new features.
