Technology platform Artisse Interactive has launched its mobile application named Artisse, which it describes as the photography industry’s biggest disruption in over a decade. The last significant leap happened in 2011 with the introduction of mobile editing apps and now Artisse is now contributing to the surge of AI-generated apps, known as the generative AI era.
This app functions as a platform for generating images, allowing users to create realistic self-photos in various settings, poses and expressions. It is made for everyone, helping individuals create photos for social media and good ads for businesses.
CEO William Wu says, “Personal photos serve as life’s most cherished language – a universal way to preserve moments, express our unique perspectives, and help us stay connected and make friends. Every day, we take more than 2.3 billion photos across the globe. Yet, the process of capturing the perfect shot remains complex, time-consuming and out of reach for many.”

Artisse is a bootstrap operation and independent venture built from the ground up with a highly diverse team that includes a solid female presence as well as an all-female team in China.
The team has made sure the app embodies the personal stories of users worldwide as not everyone has the opportunity to visit the pyramids of Egypt or travel to a tropical island for a corporate retreat. Artisse is now providing people with the opportunity to become authors of their personal stories and become the adventurer they’ve always wanted to be.
The application is now available to use worldwide and has localised language support for 35 languages covering all major geographies including major Asian languages such as Chinese, Japanese and Korean.
