During the NetEase Connect 2023 online event, NetEase Games announced that Harry Potter: Magic Awakened will have a worldwide launch in the summer of 2023 for PC, iOS, and Android platforms.
Initially released in September 2021 in China, the immersive collectible card game (CCG) with MMO and RPG elements is now available for pre-registration to everyone as it gets set for a global audience. Players will also be given pre-registration rewards when the game launches.
In the setting of Hogwarts, Harry Potter: Magic Awakened transports players to a storyline set a decade after Voldemort’s downfall. As players embark on this magical journey, they will become part of a new generation of witches and wizards, encountering both familiar and beloved characters.
Prepare for a magical experience
Players will have the opportunity to venture beyond the halls of Hogwarts and explore iconic locations like Diagon Alley. They can align with their favourite House, brew potions, participate in Quidditch matches and indulge in other activities.
The gameplay will task players with collecting a plethora of characters and spell cards, allowing them to expand their collection of magical artefacts. With these cards at their disposal, players can master the art of magic, engaging in card battles where spells like Stupefy and Incendio can be unleashed.
In addition, the game offers PvP brawls and PvE challenges where players can summon extraordinary beasts. By blending elements from adventure games, RPG games, and story games, Harry Potter: Magic Awakened aims to provide an immersive and captivating gaming experience to players globally.
