The Global Esports Federation (GEF) has announced a partnership with VOV Gaming, a pioneer of esports and a subsidiary of Savvy Games, an esports and gaming company in Saudi Arabia.
This new partnership will see GEF become VOV Gaming’s Global Supporter and will focus on three key areas including venue-to-venue competitions, Community Gaming Council, and health and wellness initiatives.
VOV Gaming will also spearhead the launch of the Community Gaming Council at GEF through an upcoming campaign called CONNECT which is also powered by VOV. Grassroots venues will have a platform that they can use to engage through the initiative as well as help build the international community agenda.
According to Jerry Gamez, CEO of VOV Gaming, “VOV is proud to join the Global Esports Federation to harness the endless possibilities and realize the potential of gamers and esports athletes worldwide by offering global platforms for them to compete, learn, and socialize. We will work together with the GEF and its Member Federations to bring physical esports and events to communities including at VOV’s unique venues.”
In addition, the GEF’s core athletes, players, and community commission will hold active roles in promoting the campaign. This will also see the GEF and VOV work together to organize international venue-to-venue competitions that’ll not only solidify and strengthen the ecosystem but also identify and develop esports talents worldwide.
