Animoca Brands‘ subsidiary, Darewise Entertainment has announced a new partnership with Skinvaders to launch SWEAR London‘s NFT collection in the Life Beyond metaverse.
Game studio Darewise Entertainment and tech platform Skinvaders are partnering up with footwear brand SWEAR London to launch the first SWEAR NFT collection. The collection is aimed toward the Life Beyond sci-fi metaverse experience which is powered by Unreal Engine.
The Life Beyond metaverse is built to give users a unique online role-playing game where they can not only play in an off-world experience but also gain true digital ownership of their in-game assets. With this latest collaboration, players living on the game’s alien planet will be able to access new fashion items such as SWEAR’s 90s chunky platform shoes.
Bringing brands to the metaverse
CEO of Darewise Entertainment, Benjamin Charbit commented on the Beyond Life metaverse and this new collaboration saying, “With Life Beyond, our ambition is to create a lush and detailed fictional virtual planet based on cutting-edge technology, world-building, and storytelling. By working with the most talented creators and brands we love in the real world, like SWEAR, we are building an interesting, authentic and believable alternate reality. Skinvaders’ expertise in creating custom in-game elements will also play a pivotal role in this social experience”.
CEO of Skinvaders, Florent Sroka also commented saying, “We are proud to power such an iconic brand as SWEAR to take its first steps in virtual worlds. Providing Life Beyond with Skinvaders technology for 3D content creation is proof that we are able to work with both Web2 and Web3 game platforms”.
While this partnership with Skinvaders marks one of the first key partners for the platform, it would seem likely that other future collaborations could be on the horizon to add to Life Beyond’s portfolio of in-game assets.
To maximise future opportunities, Dareware is launching the Life Beyond Solutions team. This creative agency will work within the gaming studio to co-create new experiences with brands for the future of Life Beyond.
