Swiss tech developer Sensorium has revealed the development of Sensorium Arc, a decentralised platform that aims to serve as a dedicated hosting service for Web3 products and assets that are owned by companies or third-party entities.
The first two Sensorium products that’ll be launched under this new Web3 platform are SENSO DAPP and UNDER. Both products will provide more functionalities as well as monetisation opportunities to the Sensorium Galaxy metaverse.
Sensorium Arc will also utilise SENSO, the native currency of the ecosystem, as its power source, just like the existing payment system across Sensorium.
Sensorium’s chief Web3 officer Alex Firsov said, “We believe that the next 12 to 18 months will be an incredible window of opportunity in shaping the evolution of Web3 and we fully intend to support that growth. As a leading Web3 developer, Sensorium is in a unique position to become a gateway for new users, developers and enthusiasts to interact with this new space.”
Growing the Web3 industry
The move also allows Sensorium to unlock new tokenomics opportunities for SENSO and add enhanced use cases to Sensorium’s future NFT assets, including avatars and land parcels, as well as participation in loyalty initiatives.
In addition to providing a fresh use case for SENSO, Sensorium Arc’s primary objective is to offer Web3 developers a pre-built environment to easily introduce and assess their assets, with an abundance of potential users available for their experiences.
