Flipside XR aims to empower content creators with its new app Flipside Studio. The Flipside Studio app includes real-time motion capture while also offering production tools and assets. The app is free for Meta Quest 2, Rift and Rift S VR headset users via The Meta Quest Store.

Live Stream with Flipside Studio
Flipside Studio lets users live-stream the content they create with the app to various platforms, including Twitch, TikTok and YouTube. According to Flipside XR, the new app offers features for content creators of all levels of expertise. The app offers just under 100 production features. Said features include sets and props, custom avatars and various cameras, which can be set at different angles. Creators can even switch camera views in real-time.
“Compared to other VR-content creation tools, it’s very unique,” writes one user in a review on the Quest Store. “A strong competitor for V-tubing and creating content, but with all the most important tools like cameras and prop/character management built right in! Can’t wait to see more people finding this gem!”
Thousands of select content creators have been using the Flipside Studio app in early access since 2020. Flipside XR promises it has used the feedback from its early-access users to improve the application. The app also offers 1080p output and can cast directly to the Flipside Broadcaster app. Additionally, Flipside Studio offers virtual lights and teleprompters as well as a Unity plug-in that allows creators and their teams to upload custom environments, props and characters.
