Ubisoft Shares Details of Brawlhalla Esports Season for 2023

This year’s tournament has a $1 million prize pool

Behemoth video game publisher Ubisoft has shared details of the upcoming Brawlhalla Esports Season 2023. It will feature both online and offline events with a hefty $1 million prize pool.

Ubisoft also revealed that Brawlhalla Esports Year Eight will include, not one, but four online Seasonal Championships, as well as three additional in-person LAN events.

The first championship will commence on February 3rd, starting with the Winter Championship. Following every Seasonal Championship, top performers from North America, South America and Europe will compete in offline ‘Seasonal Royales’ in Atlanta, Georgia.

This year’s Brawlhalla esports roadmap shows that events are scheduled to take place in April, June and July. However, Ubisoft is yet to share details on what these LAN events will require.

Celebrating the game

Ubisoft has also announced that the Brawlhalla World Championship (BCX) which attracted more than 1,000 people last year, will return in November of 2023. Last year, the event took place November 4th-6th. Like many of the title’s championships, the BCX 2023 will remain an open sign-up tournament, meaning that anybody (professional and amateur players alike) can sign up to compete in Single and Doubles tournaments.

Apart from being one of the biggest competitions in Brawlhalla, BCX 2023 is a full expo celebrating the game and its community. The event will also feature a series of on-site activities, reveals, and more for the fans to enjoy.

This year’s prize pool of $1 million is the same amount as that provided in 2021, lower than last year’s prize pool of $1.32 million.
