The ITTI revealed that the course has been designed by top companies and industry professionals to meet the needs as well as demands of the esports industry considering its escalating growth.
The course will run for six months from January to June 2023. It also includes an optional one-week on-site training session at the club’s facilities.
And that’s not all, as students will also be getting an invite to Sports Tomorrow Congress, Barca Innovation Hub’s sports innovation conference.
A release revealed that the course lessons will be live-streamed in English twice a week and will provide students with the opportunity to network and connect with other students and professors.
The ITTI also said that top industry professionals will teach the course and while it hasn’t yet announced those involved, an infographic released by the company gives us a sneak peek at some of the teacher’s workplaces which include Twitch, Riot Games, LaLiga, Team Liquid, G2 Esports and others.
FC Barcelona’s Innovation Hub is the club’s sports research, knowledge, and innovation division with the primary aim of creating an ecosystem that’ll bolster its knowledge and overall innovation.
