343 Industries, current developers of the acclaimed Halo franchise, is once again teaming up with Limbitless Solutions, a nonprofit based at the University of Central Florida to provide more Halo-themed prosthetics for children with limb loss.
Both companies have worked together to offer Halo designs like the Arbiter and Master Chief since 2018. And now their partnership extends deeper into the franchise with Master Chief from Halo Infinite and Halo: Reach Spartan Catherine-B320.
Albert Manero co-founder of Limbitless Solutions said, “We are thrilled to continue our partnership and to bring these new designs to life. Our team cannot wait for children to proudly show these new bionic designs to their friends in their classrooms or on the playground.”
As creators of custom-made 3D-printed prosthetics for children, Limbitless Solutions will teach the kids how to use the prosthetics and offer any other necessary support.
343 Industries’ studio quality-of-life PM Ron Brown commented, “It’s really nice to know that people can have this part of their identity and the things that they love be a very physical, very real part of them.”
The Halo game developers first took to its website to break the news. Below is a video showcasing a better look at the prosthetic designs.
