ImmutableX Lands Big Names On Their Quest To Power Web3

Multiple big name brands are choosing ImmutableX for their Web3 projects

Various NFT and gaming projects have recently opted to move over to or launch on the ImmutableX blockchain. ImmutableX is a layer-2 Ethereum scaling solution that powers Web3 games with the platform is looking to help advance the next generation of gaming through its services.

Some of the projects that are calling ImmutableX their new home are AAA blockchain MMO Delysium, NFT collection Veefriends, and trading card game Cross The Ages – various other projects are making the move too. After the crash of the open-source blockchain platform, Terra Network, other projects such as Undead Blocks and StarHeroes decided to make the move to ImmutableX, with developers noting that “migration was a simple task”.

Cross the Ages, Delysium, and Ember Sword are titles that were all originally developed on Ethereum scaling platform Polygon but in the end, have chosen to go over to ImmutableX. The need for greater stability, scalability and security was cited as the top reason for the move.

Scaling future projects

Immutable co-founder and president, Robbie Ferguson commented on the future of the company saying, “So many top-tier Web3 projects choosing to build on ImmutableX is great recognition for what we’re building and we’re just getting started. I’m very excited by the calibre of projects partnering with Immutable and the pace at which they’re joining. As Immutable brings the next billion players to web3, continuing to build the most scalable, secure and developer-friendly network will be crucial in enabling builders to bring their creative visions to life”.

ImmutableX has found itself attracting new projects too, with the likes of HRO’s launch of DC Comics Hybrid Trading Cards – which is using the ImmutableX platform to scale its launch of superhero cards starting with designs from The Batman.

Immutable also has its own games studio with over four years of experience building Web3 games, Immutable sees this as another attractive factor for gaming titles as their platform is designed for games, by games.
