Pocketful of Quarters, a leading game and platform agnostic digital currency that enables players to seamlessly move tokens and assets between games, has been awarded a patent for its innovative “Zero-Click” transfer.
The Zero-Click allows players to play games using game tokens, cryptocurrencies and NFTs conveniently without having to worry about wallets, browser extensions and any of such typical but complex Web3 worries.
Once you log into the official Pocketful of Quarters website, Zero-Click will securely store public and private keys that lets every customer use and earn game tokens, NFTs and cryptocurrencies with participating games.
It’ll save them the time of going through separate paywalls and purchasing seperate premium game tokens in each game. In recognition of the innovation and unique nature of Zero-Click, the U.S. Patent Office awarded Patent No. 11189131 to Pocket of Quarters for Zero-Click on 30th November 2021.
Mike Weiksner, Ph.D., Founder and CEO of Pocket of Quarters commented, “We’re always looking for new and innovative ways to make video games better for players. Zero-Click makes playing games easy, seamless and hassle-free, and with Quarters, friends and competitors can finally have one premium game token that is interoperable and compliant.”
Zero-Click was first made available to POQ players in late 2019 and it combines the premium game token on the blockchain to power eSports events and native in-game token for a growing catalog of mobile and PC titles.
