Games platform/burgeoning metaverse Roblox reports 48.2 million daily active users for the month of August.
That’s according to the firm’s latest monthly update on its investor relations portal, which is a 32 per cent increase year-on-year as well as a four per cent rise on July 2021.
Roblox also reported a 32 per cent increase in the number of hours played for the month – four billion – which is also a five per cent increase from the 3.8 billion hours that users clocked up in July. Meanwhile, bookings for the month are apparently around $220 million – an increase of roughly 30 per cent year-on-year – though the average amount spent by players has reportedly dropped by between one and two per cent.
Revenue for the month, however, is set to be between $167 million and $170 million for the period, an increase of roughly 100 per cent year-on-year.
