Coca-Cola is joining the NFT ecosystem with the release of its Masterpiece Collection. The collection combines iconic art pieces and new artworks from emerging artists with the signature glass Coca-Cola bottle.
“Classic masterpieces like ‘The Scream’ by Edvard Munch and ‘Girl with a Pearl Earring’ by Johannes Vermeer find a harmonious coexistence alongside contemporary works by talented artists like Aket and Vikram Kushwah,” states the NFT collections description on Coinbase.
All of the art pieces featured in the NFT collection were also part of Coca-Cola’s Masterpiece Global campaign. Coca-Cola’s Masterpiece collection features works from emerging artists including Fatma Ramadan, and Wonder Buhle. Through the NFT collection, the soda brand aims to allow the artwork to take on a new dimension. The collection is available as part of Onchain Summer.
“The first thing that comes to my mind when I think about Coca-Cola is joy,” says Wonderbuhle. “Joy certainly feels like the driving force behind the brand’s new collection of onchain art, featuring a diverse array of iconic artworks from around the world.”

Collection centres on iconic bottle silhouette
In each NFT, the iconic Coca-Cola bottle takes centre stage. The bottle is overlayed with the artwork. Each bottle sits in front of a frame on a vibrant background. Ice and other bits of artwork surround the soda bottle. The Coca-Cola Masterpiece Collection is available on Coinbase.
“Through Masterpiece, Coca-Cola works as a curator weaving a narrative that transcends borders and celebrates artistic diversity. I’m proud to be a part of Masterpiece because my work will be shown alongside a diverse group of artists from different countries,” says Fatma Ramadan.
Coca-Cola is just the latest brand to make the leap to minting NFTs. Porsche announced its NFT collection last December. Similarly, Bugatti and Asprey partnered to create the most expensive NFT on Bitcoin Blockchain earlier this year. Likewise, the entertainment industry is also taking advantage of NFTs, with Warner Bros offering The Flash movie as an NFT.
