Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are taking steps to build their own world in a virtual universe, in what’s being viewed as further moves to outreach their media careers.
Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have been on quite the journey as the pair stepped back from their duties within the British royal family back in 2021. Since then the couple has spent much of their time in America and have taken the opportunity to spread their own message and experiences across various platforms from TV interviews to podcasts, and now it seems like perhaps the digital world is their next target.
The jump to a virtual experience is said to be the “next stage to take their brand truly global” and they have spoken with “a variety of experts” regarding building the platform. This virtual land is rumoured to be named Meg-averse. The name, if true, would insinuate that Meghan is the more dominant force behind the new platform.
Expanding via all avenues
According to The Mirror, the two are in talks with Pax.world to launch this next phase in branding, with the founder of Pax.World, Frank Fitzgerald commenting that, “We’re offering Harry and Meghan a plot of prime pax.world land and the chance to collaborate with the world’s leading architects, build on it, and connect with new audiences. If they are to pursue business and entertainment deals, position themselves as thought leaders, and progress their charity work, they must partner with a platform that shares their values.”
If this plan is to go ahead, the pair wouldn’t be the first celebrity figures to explore digital spaces for wider exposure, other celebs such as Paris Hilton have already made moves in the virtual world and for some, it provides an easily accessible format to be present at events without having to you know, actually be physically present.
