Speedrunning charity organisation Games Done Quick has raised a whopping $3 million in its most recent event.
According to the outfit’s website, Summer Games Done Quick brought in $3,022,010.49 for Doctors Without Borders. That’s come from 23,950 donors who made 42,117 donations. The event took place between June 26th and July 3rd.
That’s a slight increase on the $2,904,585.35 that was brought in for Summer Games Done Quick 2021 and is the third-highest amount raised by a Games Done Quick event to date; the record is currently held by 2022’s Awesome Games Done Quick, which brought in $3.4 million.
