OpenAI has announced its popular GPT-4 model last week and it came with some impressive features that the previous ChatGPT model simply didn’t have, making GPT-4 the company’s most advanced AI model yet.
The rise of AI has forced many tech companies to delve into the field and test the waters of how AI could potentially help them grow and not be left out of what is looking like the future of how we work.
Integrating Two AI Models
Adam D’Angelo, CEO of Quora took to Twitter to say that Poe subscribers can chat with GPT-4 and Claude+ (version 1.2) AI-powered bots. However, access is limited as the paid tier doesn’t allow users to ask unlimited questions. Users can also send 300 messages to GPT-4 and 1,000 to Claude 1.2 in a month.
The service also says that upon reaching the monthly limit, “Bot availability or quality may be reduced.”
D’Angelo went on to praise OpenAI’s GPT-4 as, “A major advance relative to ChatGPT and is the most powerful language model available to the world today. It is particularly strong at creative writing, problem-solving, and instruction following. For example, GPT-4 solves this 2023 AIME (math contest) problem correctly.”
The Quora CEO added, “Claude+ is significantly better than Claude, especially in non-English languages. In English, it generates more in-depth answers than Claude as well. Poe is currently the only consumer internet product with either Claude or Claude+ available.”
Poe subscriptions will cost $19.99 per month or $199.99 per year and at the moment, it is only available for iOS and Apple Silicon-powered Macs.
D’Angelo also said that all Poe users will be allowed to send one free message per day to both GPT-4 and Claude+. “Other bots on Poe, including those based on ChatGPT and Claude, will continue to be free for unlimited usage,” said D’Angelo.
Poe subscriptions are now available in most countries globally and the company is working on expanding availability in the coming days.
