Game software and venture capital company Animoca Brands and Planet Hollywood Group have announced through their joint venture with Meta Hollywood the launch of CLUB 3.
The new club is a private, members-only space that will be a physical meeting place for the global community involved in Web3, NFTs and open metaverse industries. The first CLUB 3 location will open in Los Angeles in the heart of Sunset Boulevard in the second half of 2023.
It will be a 10,000-square-foot facility with dining options, including a main dining room and a rooftop restaurant. There will also be eclectic bars, a cocktail lounge, meeting rooms, karaoke rooms and other facilities to ensure visitors have everything they need. In addition, the club space will also offer fully programmable areas for experiential events that will be available both in person and virtually, such as industry events, community meetups, talks, experiences, seminars, AMA sessions and more.
Club memberships
CLUB 3 will offer four types of memberships; founding, social, global and corporate. Each membership will include different access to perks and amenities, with all members able to communicate with each other through CLUB 3’s exclusive community chat. All four membership levels will be available at launch. Following the opening of the first club location, there are plans to expand with multiple iterations in cities such as New York, Miami, Tokyo, London, Paris and Hong Kong.
Memberships will allow varied access to these venues, such as the social membership, which will provide the owner access to one specific CLUB 3 location. The founding membership is an exclusive pass available in limited numbers per club and will grant specialised benefits such as access to a private founder-only lounge. The global membership acts as an upgraded pass allowing owners access to all locations around the world.
Memberships are available as mintable NFTs, with those interested able to reserve a place on the waitlist. One-time membership fees for social membership and founding membership are $2,500 and $7,500, respectively. All members can then upgrade to a global membership for an additional fee of $1,500.

CLUB 3 will integrate Web3 mechanics into the club’s operations, such as community voting on seasonal menus, specialised perks and collaborative promotions for NFT projects and membership holders.
