Characters from popular PlayStation hits such as Kratos and Atreus from God of War, Aloy from Horizon Forbidden West, Ellie and Joel from The Last of Us, and Ratchet, Clank and Rivet from Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart.
The souvenir sheet’s author, which consists of four postage stamps, is Alenka Lalić, a designer from Zagreb. The new collection, created in collaboration with PlayStation Croatia, stars well-known characters giving the stamps a unique collectable value.
PlayStation Stamps
The first issue in the Popular Culture series is about discovering new worlds and experiences. Therefore the theme is fitting with the characters and games featured in the designs. There will be 50,000 available limited edition stamps for sale. Stamps have long been a popular choice for collectors and with PlayStation’s popularity, these will likely be highly desirable for fans and collectors.
The chosen titles are popular among gaming fans with God of War winning multiple awards at the 2022 Game Awards. It is also set to become an Amazon TV series.
Speaking of games coming to TV, another set of characters featured on the new stamps, Joel and Ellie from The Last of Us, have made their TV debut with HBO’s live-action show. The series recently aired its sixth episode and has been received incredibly well. The popularity of the game and TV show will undoubtedly boost the desire to own a unique Last of Us themed stamp.
