FARFETCH and Outlier Ventures are now accepting applications for its Dream Assembly Base Camp Cohort Two.
FARFETCH Limited is a global platform for the luxury fashion industry and partners Outlier Ventures are a Web3 accelerator and investor. Together they have opened applications for the second Dream Assembly. This is a remote 12-week accelerator program that provides a cohort of promising Web3 start-ups in the luxury fashion and lifestyle sectors with a curated program of mentorship, networking and support to help develop the future of Web3 luxury commerce.
This second program will be a tailored experience for each startup and focus on luxury data infrastructure, community tools, digital fashion experience, self-representation and sustainability. Participants will gain access to FARFETCH and Outlier Ventures’ network of mentors from within the fashion, technology and Web3 industries, in addition to investors to support future fundraising efforts.
Web3 startups
During the first program last year, eight startups from five different countries were welcomed. The program covered topics such as luxury commerce, token design, product roadmaps and NFTs. The success of the first cohort has seen the creation of this second base camp. In addition to the remote accelerator program, there is also $150,000 in funding on offer.

The program will focus on helping to shape the future of Web3 luxury commerce through innovative solutions in the areas of luxury data infrastructure, community tools, digital fashion experience, self-representation, and sustainability, building on the successes of the first cohort.”
The Dream Assembly Base Camp believes that the program will be able to target areas that are critical to growing new opportunities for Web3 startups. It also draws a focus on how blockchain-based solutions have the potential to positively address issues within the industry such as the counterfeiting of luxury products and rising concerns of pollution through fast fashion consumption.
New opportunities

Applications for the Dream Assembly Base Camp are open now and are due with an application closure date of March 24, 2023. The program itself will commence sometime in mid-April, 2023. Snapchat recently partnered with Amazon Fashion for a new try before you buy AR experience.
