User-generated content entertainment platform Yahaha has announced that it has reached a new milestone. This landmark achievement marks one million assets being on the platform.
Yahaha Studios was founded in 2020 and has a mission to democratise 3D gaming creation. The platform offers a user-generated content creation platform for 3D developers. With the click of a button, users can publish their creations. Yahaha aims to make the process easy and accessible to all.
The platform has now reached the huge milestone of having over a million assets available to its users. Using these assets is made simple with basic drag-and-drop tools, making it easier for anyone who wishes to create using these 3D assets.
Big milestone for YAHAHA
The new content is available for free to both creators and players alike. With assets that are easy to use, Yahaha is offering the freedom to build unique experiences that others can explore. Yahaha aims to ensure that users can create quickly and efficiently, having more time for their projects or exploring others.
In addition to over a million 3D models, creators also have access to audio animation and game components. This range of assets hopes to support a variety of users no matter their skill level. With a large number of assets at the user’s disposal and Yahaha’s AI-based search engine, it means that work can be done quickly without compromising on quality.
Co-founder and COO at Yahaha Studios, Pengfei Zhang commented on the milestone. “We are pleased to announce that YAHAHA has reached the incredible milestone of over one million assets on our platform. One of our goals is to continuously give our creators new materials to design and engage with. Whilst lowering the barriers for 3D content creation.”
Growing platform
Yahaha Studios previously announced it had secured a $40 million investment to further support the platform and its creators. Thousands of games and social experiences are currently on the Yahaha platform, which is free to play. Given the additional assets, creators will now have more freedom than ever before. This latest range of assets is compatible across multiple platforms including iOS, Android, and Desktop.
Yahaha is also sponsoring and hosting the 2023 Global Game Jam this year. Creators can take part to compete in a series of prize pools.
