Perfect Corp is launching a new AI that allows makeup and beauty brands to tailor product recommendations to each user’s personality. The AI Personality Finder determines recommendations by analyzing a user’s level of extroversion, conscientiousness, openness, agreeability and neuroticism. It then uses the results to identify the consumer’s personality traits and recommends products that align with them. The AI Personality Finder runs on the company’s AgileFace technology.
‘’We have seen a growing number of beauty and cosmetics brands leveraging AI and AR solutions, and the brands investing in these technologies are growing in double digits,” Alice Chang, CEO and founder of Perfect Corp, told CosmeticsDesign Asia.
AI personality finder integrates with facial recognition
Perfect Corp’s AI Personality Finder works with facial recognition tech to determine product recommendations. According to Chang, this integration allows the AI to offer accurate results for customers of all ethnicities.
“By integrating the technology, beauty and cosmetic brands can create a seamless omnichannel strategy that provides customers with immersive, entertaining and personalized experiences,” added Chang. “As a result, customers’ online shopping experiences can be greatly enhanced.”
According to Chang, the AI Personality Finder is easy for brands to implement across their e-commerce sites. Additionally, Perfect Corp offers affordable solutions for small and medium-sized companies. As of now, interested parties can check out a demonstration of the AI tech on the company’s website. However, Perfect Corp plans to release the AI Personality Finder for beauty brands in 2023.
“With this robust catalog of offerings, brands of all sizes can upgrade their platforms and provide new entertaining and personalized experiences regardless of their scale or size,” Chang stated.
