Revolving Games unveiled an exclusive first look at its upcoming Web3 MMORPG, Skyborne Legacy. The decentralized game is billed as a social world exploration and trading MMORPG, which takes inspiration from iconic Nintendo games such as Animal Crossing.
In addition to the first look at the game, plans to host an Ask-Me-Anything (AMA) on October 12 via twitch, giving fans a chance to ask their questions. Skyborne Legacy Game Director Christopher Arrington and Design Director Di Dan will be featured during the AMA session. Arrington previously worked on blockbuster titles, Star Trek Timelines and Warhammer: Chaos & Conquest, while Dan worked as Design Director for the mobile title Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery.
“A lot of passion and effort has gone into crafting the vision and look and feel of the game, and the team is excited to be integrating Web3 technology and ethos into our game development processes. We’re thrilled to share this first build with the community as we continue to hone Skyborne Legacy,” said Arrington.
Everyone who participates in the AMA will receive a Proof-of-Attendance-Protocol NFT, which will allow them to access exclusive rewards, perks and airdrops in the future. Revolving Games also unveiled a VERY short teaser trailer for Skybound Legacy, showcasing a beautiful 2D fantasy land.
“As an evolving world based around a player-controlled economy and active participation, Skyborne Legacy is not a ‘one-and-done’ game whose active development stops after its release; this is just the start. We will continue developing the in-game universe and expanding it with new content for months and years to come, and our roadmap fully reflects that,” says Dan.
