AI-enhanced open metaverse MetaGaia has launched metaverse destination Hello Kitty Seven Wonders alongside lifestyle brand Sanrio Hong Kong. Digital items and activities will allow fans to build communities and interact with their favourite characters in a new virtual world.
MetaGaia is aiming to become a metaverse where users can utilise AI-powered companions, AR games, social features, brand shopping and digital asset purchasing. This will provide fans with an immersive experience with Hello Kitty and Friends characters.

Fans have the option to mint a Wonder Pass, which gives them extra benefits such as a starchip bonus, daily check-in rewards and exclusive access to areas within Hello Kitty Seven Wonders. Users who mint up to four sets of Wonder Passes can become Wonderlords with more perks like building and decorating a custom space in the metaverse destination.

A Hello Kitty Seven Wonders in-person pop-up event also opened last week at Citygate Outlets in Hong Kong, which lets visitors enjoy AR experiences through the MetaGaia app, blending the digital metaverse with tangible real-world interactions featuring Hello Kitty and her family and friends.
The pop-up event is scheduled to run until August 31st, providing fans with an opportunity to immerse themselves in the Hello Kitty universe.
