Oracle Red Bull Racing and Rokt are partnering to identify six exceptional female sim racers. These racers will be invited to participate in the new Rokt the Rig women’s sim racer development program. Red Bull Racing’s Esports team will train the chosen female sim racers. Training will be personalised for each participant to foster racing skills, while the women will also have the chance to compete or otherwise contribute to the esports team.

Rokt Chief Product Officer Srishti Gupta said, “Rokt is deeply committed to fostering greater diversity in technology, sports, and business, and we are thrilled to launch this search for talented female F1 sim racers as part of our continuing partnership with Oracle Red Bull Racing.

“As a woman in tech, I understand the need to break down the barriers that women have traditionally faced in too many professions and arenas. This program will not only help make sim racing and esports more welcoming to female gamers but will also help highlight many of the other career opportunities in esports that are available to women.”

Rokt the Rig women’s program begins with Driver Accelerator day

Rokt the Rig women’s sim racer development program participants will interact with the esports team’s community via Discord. In doing so, the participants will build relationships with esports industry members. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to win prizes such as elite performance equipment.

Joe Soltysik, Esports Lead at Oracle Red Bull Racing said, “This program will offer an open and inclusive platform for women around the world to prove their sim-racing talent and provide support to help them develop that talent to its full potential.

“We couldn’t be prouder to partner with Rokt to create a more equitable world where everyone is empowered to develop their professional knowledge and capabilities and succeed in any career path they choose.”

Rokt the Rig begins with a Driver Accelerator Day taking place at Red Bull Racing’s technology campus in Milton Keynes. Development program participants will receive one-on-one training from one of Red Bull Racing’s esports drivers. Participants can also tour the Erena, the brands’ esports training and competition facility.

After the inaugural event, racers will participate in monthly group training sessions with professional esports drivers. Further, participants will participate in Erena races. They will also receive invitations to join the Oracle Red Bull Racing Esports Discord community to communicate with the team.

Rokt and Oracle Red Bull Racing will release more details on July 24th.
