Prepare for a summertime makeover in Stumble Guys with Barbie this month as the game will introduce the brand-new Barbie Dream Dash level, featuring obstacle courses and multiplayer action.
Stumble Guys is one of the most popular multiplayer party knockout games that pits 32 players against one another in multiple online rounds of frenzied fun.
This latest addition will allow players to enjoy a beach party where Barbies are soaking up the sun by the pool. Players will also get to sprint through multiple twists and turns in pursuit of Barbie’s favourite items, reflecting on her careers and interests over the years.
Mike DeLaet, global head of digital gaming at Mattel said, “Building on the success of Hot Wheels, it was an easy decision to collaborate with Scopely to bring Barbie to life in this new and unique way. Bringing her trademark magic and wonder to Stumble Guys, players can immerse themselves in a Barbie beach party like no other.”
A whole new stumble experience
Players will have to be quick and nimble in order to outmanoeuvre the opposition while navigating the dangers of the ocean. The Barbie update aims to delight players with fresh emotes, animations, footsteps, and five new stumblers.
“The ‘Stumble Guys’ team loves surprising our players with new and unexpected experiences. After our successful integration of Hot Wheels with Mattel, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to work with one of the most iconic brands in toys and entertainment, Barbie,” said Jamie Berger, senior vice president of marketing at Scopely.
“In our newest collaboration, Barbie introduces a new realm of characters, humour, and imagination that will transport Stumble Guys players to a competitive Barbie-themed world that they may not want to leave,” added Berger.
The Barbie franchise has been making the headlines lately thanks to the upcoming live-action movie starring Margot Robbie as the titular character which will arrive in theatres on July 21st 2023.
Stumble Guys is currently available on Steam, Android and iOS and you can play the Barbie update from the game.
