Applications Open For Impulse Programme European XR Accelerator

XR4Europe’s programme prioritises content creation and entrepreneurship for both commercial ventures and academic entrepreneurs

The Impulse Programme is a European XR Accelerator that’s designed to challenge content creators and help them grow their projects. Created by XR4Europe, the programme is focused on content creation and entrepreneurship for commercial endeavours and academic entrepreneurs.

Some of the most creative studios and research institutions are based in Europe, which is no surprise as it is a thriving region for entrepreneurs. In addition, its multicultural XR professionals need the support to help their talent succeed past disciplines.

Offering a singular and multi-partner journey, the programme is also aimed at fostering actors of the immersive tech scene in order to shape a strong industry that’s led by ambitious and talented individuals.

Accelerating XR Growth

Based on the vertical and stage of an individual’s project, and upon being selected, creators will have the opportunity to participate in specialised sessions or exhibit at select XR conferences, festivals, and markets in Europe including:

  • For creators: The Booster at Stereopsia EUROPE, Immersive Tech Week (ITW) by VRDays Foundation, CineMart at IFFR Pro, and New Images Festival (NIF).
  • For entrepreneurs: Laval Virtual, XR4Europe’s Annual Conference at Stereopsia Europe, and Immersive Tech Week (ITW) by VRDays Foundation.

The programme promotes growth by facilitating the pairing of projects with suitable counterparts for scaling purposes. This will allow content creators an opportunity to meet producers, distributors or venture capitalists and learn how to improve their business plan or grant submission.

Entrepreneurs will also learn how to improve their business proposal, strengthen their products and even learn how to defend a project and vision, especially when face-to-face with investors.

Interested creators or entrepreneurs can apply to the programme using the submission form. The deadline for applications is August 28th.
