DC Comics Goes Transmedia With Dual Force Game

Players will be able to live out the events of classic comic books in Yuke’s and CCG Lab’s collectible card game

Yuke’s and CCG Lab‘s new collectible card game, DC Dual Force, will enter public PC beta testing this month. This follows an exclusive streamer beta weekend where viewers had the chance to win game keys. The public DC Dual Force Beta Weekend will run from June 16th through June 18th and players can sign up at dcdualforce.com.

DC Dual Force is primarily a PvP title where players build their decks around their favourite heroes and villains. Each player will pair up with another DC Universe leader. Players will feel like they’re in the midst of a battle themed to the superheroes or villains they’ve partnered with.

While the game offers PvP, DC Dual Force also lets players live out classic DC comics by participating in PvE adventures. Players can, for instance, enter the Justice League: Origin comic and aid the heroes in protecting the planet from Darkseid. The developers promise to add new playable comics each week.

The upcoming Flash movie releases on June 16th, with the Blue Beetle film following in August. Other films in the DC universe that have been confirmed include Superman: Legacy, The Brave And The Bold, Swamp Thing and Supergirl: Woman Of Tomorrow.
