Nak3d Aims To Transform Fashion In The Gaming Industry With G-commerce

The company wants to transform the way fashion is approached in the gaming industry by creating durable and high-quality fashion items

Game-first fashion development company Nak3d has unveiled its G-commerce (games commerce) that includes exclusive Wednesday Addams and Miles Morales collections for free on any platform during Metaverse Fashion Week.

Nak3d aims to transform the way fashion is approached in the gaming industry by giving users access to stylish items free as it hopes to make fashion in the metaverse accessible to all.

With a vision to offer players more choices, fashion stylist Rinat Homossany Perry partnered with video games veteran Kelly Vero, 3D expert Gabriel Fidalgo, and business strategist Christian Wittmer.

Together, they recognised the limitations of traditional fashion campaigns and sought to provide a solution that would allow individuals to customise their looks with ease. Combining their collective expertise in fashion, gaming and technology, led to the creation of Nak3d, a simple and accessible way to remain fashionable.

Combining fashion and AI

The company believes that the relationship between cosmetic and fashion goods in the gaming industry often falls short of players’ quality expectations. To address this issue, Nak3d’s team of fashion development experts combined their love for fashion and AI technology to create a revolutionary approach.

In July 2022, during their R&D focus, they drew inspiration from Alexander McQueen’s S/S23 lookbook and developed a look in 10 days that is now available on all major platforms, including console, mobile, VR, AR, PC, and NFT.

Nak3d is in its early stages of development, but the team is enthusiastic about collaborating with more studios and LiveOps to create durable and high-quality fashion items that’ll have sustainable, stylish and long-lasting digital designs.

Nak3d’s new collections can now be accessed on Decentraland and Yahaha.
