Generation Esports’ New Partnership With Nintendo

’We’re looking forward to nurturing the next generation of esports…’

A full-service competitive gaming platform that’s dedicated to bringing tournaments to gaming communities, Generation Esports, has announced an official partnership with video game company Nintendo.

The partnership will commence with the Middle School Esports League and will see Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Splatoon 3 join the esport company’s offerings for middle schools this spring from February 27th, 2023.

Mason Mullenioux, CEO at Generation Esports said, “Every student deserves the opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities that best suit their interests — and nothing shows our commitment to them better than establishing the framework to make school seem more fun.”

Building the next generation of esports talents

Generation Esports is popular not only for its full service, but also for its ever-expanding library of games that will elevate the possibilities for students to learn and compete in new environments that’ll provide constructive, family-friendly gaming events to help build positive gaming communities.

“Opportunities to create access and develop more paths to success for maturing middle school youths is at the core of this partnership – and we’re looking forward to nurturing the next generation of esports,” said Jon Bukosky, CCO at Generation Esports.

Students from across America will have the opportunity to showcase their skills in league-style competition with the launch of the free-to-compete Middle League Spring Major on February 27th.

Generation Esports is looking to foster every facet of student growth to support and create access for middle schools nationwide and this new partnership with Nintendo will allow them to roll out Nintendo Switch systems and other software to various middle schools that’ll allow them to take part in the competition later this month.
