StarStake aims to fairly compensate and connect creators with its new Web3 marketing tool. Traditional forms of publication rarely pay creatives fairly, with musicians and authors typically receiving only a small percentage of the revenue they generate. StarStake plans to offer a decentralized economic model, allowing creators to develop NFTs and personal pages without a subscription fee.
“Our goal isn’t to make another digital platform or collection of art,” says StarStake founder Chris Hawk. “There are enough of those out there. StarStake is harnessing the utility of NFT technology to build deeper, more meaningful connections between artists and their audiences in the real world.”
In addition to fairly compensating creatives, StarStake aims to change how the public views NFTs. The company wants consumers to see NFTs as functional membership key cards that can connect them with their favorite creators. StarStake will offer a variety of tools for the creation of NFTs, allowing athletes, artists, influencers and musicians to creatively advertise and interact with fans.
Earn Rewards As a Staker
Rather than subscribers, StarStake will have ‘Stakers”. Stakers are members of a creator’s community who can receive rewards for supporting projects and helping creators gain exposure. Creators can allow their ‘Stakers’ to access digital or physical rewards through NFT smart contracts. Additionally, creators don’t need any coding knowledge to create their NFTs.
NFT Bucks will act as the platform’s currency which consumers can use to make purchases. Users can also redeem access NFTs for merch, tickets, or digital downloads. The platform will also feature StarStake NFTs (sNFTs), which users can use to unlock perks and rewards after supporting a creator, brand, or project.
“Imagine a tiered members club for the Web3 era, branded to the creator, where stakers are incentivized to spread the creator’s message to redeem a variety of exclusives. As a creator, they can build a number of differently priced packages complete with included Access NFTs,” states StarStake in a press release.
StarStake will launch in the first quarter of 2023. The platform will feature space-themed lore and a fully animated AI inspired by Iron Man.
