Over the years, the Games for Change mission to elevate and promote real-world change through video games has gone global. Inspiring cross-sector collaboration and igniting widespread innovation within the industry.

Games for change date

The celebration of 20 years will take place at the next event on July 18 through July 20, 2023. As usual, the event will take place at the Times Center in New York. During the multi-day event, industry experts will share ideas on the evolution and ever-changing space of the gaming market. Perspectives on where the industry is currently at, and future predictions on how the global future of games and immersive media will impact the wider world are all expected to be in discussion.

The XR for Change Summit will also be making a return as a full-day event. Here, immersive experiences that are exploring new pathways for social impact will be highlighted. The XR for Change Summit will also look into the world of emerging technologies such as the metaverse, AI, and our rapidly growing virtual spaces.

Festival registration will be open in early 2023. If your calendar needs more events, the No Limit Parade at Universal Studios Japan is making a return in 2023.
