Nvidia may be known for its GPUs, but this holiday season will see the release of the Sphynx: Ampere set.
Sounds pretty cool right? Well just wait until you hear what’s actually in the box set. There’s a common narrative around the holiday season where shoppers simply don’t know what to give to someone. Usually, it boils down to three classics, chocolate, socks… And a deodorant set.
It seems that Nvidia is a fan of the latter since the Sphynx: Ampere set is exactly that. The release promises to be the “most advanced platform for extreme freshness that you’ve ever seen.” Or perhaps smelled?
Nvidia gaming goodies
The set contains a deodorant body spray and an ‘invigorating’ shower gel, there are no details on how these smell. However, this is no ordinary deodorant box set, the gift also includes a hidden compartment that houses a gaming laptop. As well as smelling great, recipients of the Ampere gift can also get their game on.
The ASUS TUF Dash 15, which is equipped with an Intel 12th-gen processor and RTX 3050 is on offer to tackle your festive gaming needs. This model is a mid-range piece of equipment and while it may not support the most powerful settings, it’s capable of reaching a good performance at 1080p and achieving stable frame rates. Not bad to say it comes out of a deodorant set.
Although, if you were thinking of dashing out to the stores to buy a last-minute gift you won’t see these stacking the shelves. The Sphynx Ampere box set is instead intended to be featured only in free giveaways on social media. Despite a slower year for gaming, getting a shiny new gaming laptop would make for a great gift heading into a game filled 2023.
