NERF has showcased its premium fan-focused nerf design which works in collaboration with the popular League of Legends franchise. This edition is based on the character Jinx who wields the infamous fishbones rocket launcher in the Netflix show Arcane.
The new Jinx Fishbone blaster has an 18-dart capacity drum which supports six clusters of three darts, so each pull of the trigger fires a barrage of 3 dart bursts. All 18 darts — no more and no less so don’t go losing them — come with the blaster. The design is shaped with a shark’s head at the front which manually opens to access the drum. In addition, a Jinx-style display stand is included for those who wish to display the beloved Fishbones blaster.
The Fishbones blaster will be added to Nerf’s various lineup of iconic adaptations such as the Halo Needler and the Minecraft Sabrewing. Pre-orders for Fishbones are currently available on the official Nerf website for $169.99 — making it one of the most expensive premium releases — purchases can also be made through Amazon.
Pre-orders end on January 3rd with an expected release of December 2023, which gives plenty of time to save up in case the Fishbone blaster ends up on the top of someone’s Christmas list next year.
