Riot Games Teams Up With Lexis Partners For The 2022 LoL World Final

Riot aims to “bring the excitement of the World Final to big screens across the world.”

League of Legends is a premier global esport that has garnered millions of fans across the globe since 2011. And it’s about to amass even more fans as Riot Games teams up with Lexis Partners to present the 2022 LoL World Championship Final on November 5th.

The partnership will see every moment of the action, strategy and skill of the world’s best League of Legends players being put to the test as both fans and players alike experience the excitement live at select Regal theatres all across the US.

Naz Aletaha, Global Head of LoL Esports at Riot Games stated, “Worlds is the biggest esports event of the year, and this collaboration with Lexis Partners will help us bring the excitement of the World Final to big screens across the world. We look forward to providing the community with another way to experience the sport and spectacle that makes Worlds so special.”

The event’s opening ceremony is presented by Mastercard and will feature famous music star Lil Nas X as he performs the Worlds 2022 anthem Star Walkin’.

The ceremony is scheduled to kick off at 4pm PT/7pm ET and will be followed by the main event at 5pm PT/8pm ET. Apart from Lil Nas X’s performance, other LoL influencers and celebrities will make a special appearance in select theatres across the US. 

Bringing virtual sports to the real world

Co-founders John Rubey and Robert Markovich of Lexis Partners commented, “As the No.1 esports event of the year, Worlds is where legends are made or broken. We are excited to be a part of Riot’s commitment of giving back to their community and creating an environment tailored for an unbelievable experience.”

Worlds continue to become more popular amongst gamers and has been the pinnacle of the LoL eSports competition where top teams from regional leagues across the world compete for the world championship title.

For this year’s competition, 24 teams will participate in the month-long tournament where the winner will be crowned best in the world. You can check out the list of participating locations or purchase tickets to the event from the Regal mobile app or by vising REGmovies.com.
