Snap Inc, creators of Snapchat has partnered with Disguise, a costume design and manufacturing company to allow customers to try on Halloween costumes using AR.
Users can try various costumes from the costume designers 2022 collection, purchase them and even share costume ideas with Snapchat users.
Snap SVP of content and partnerships Ben Schwerin commended, “These Halloween AR try-on experiences represent what makes shopping on Snapchat so seamless and fun. We’re thrilled to partner with Disguise to bring these Lenses to our community, as well as make choosing a Halloween costume that works for you, without ever having to step foot in a store, easier than ever on Snapchat.”
Users can try out some of the available costumes which include characters from The Office, Power Rangers, Minecraft, Harry Potter, Ghostbusters and – in the Twitter link below – Stranger Things…

The move comes after Snap Inc closely observed how 92% of Snapchat users have shown interest in AR shopping and have engaged with the app’s AR shopping Lenses more than five billion times.
