Sony has announced that its new DualSense Edge Wireless Controller will launch in January 2023 and will cost $199.99.
Described as the “high performance” controller, the DualSense Edge is fully customizable and comes with rear buttons, multiple control profiles, removable analogue thumbsticks and changeable stick caps.
The new switch stick caps come in three distinct types each designed to suit any player’s preference. There’s standard, high dome and low dome, altering the shape and amount of touch surface area. The controller’s entire stick models can be replaced as well, but these are sold separately.
The whole package comes in the brand-new DualSense Edge Wireless Controller carrying case, which includes:

Great. But pricey
Sony wrote in a blog post, the DualSense Edge will launch in the US on January 26th 2023 at $199.99, ¥29,980 in Japan, €239.99 in Europe, and £209.99 in the UK.
As mentioned above, the controller’s replaceable stick modules are sold separately and will be available next year at $19.99, ¥2,680 in Japan, €24.99 in Europe, and £19.99 in the UK.
Sony will open doors for pre-orders on October 25th at its official website and select retailers. The PlayStation owners also noted that other retailers will not be able to ship out the DualSense Edge until late February 2023.
