Game Devs of Color Expo has released the full schedule for its upcoming 2022 online event. The seventh annual celebration of game developers of colour returns next week, from September 15th to 19th.
This year’s GDoCExpo will host talks, panel discussions, and interviews with game developers around the world. GDoCExpo’s Steam event, Gradient Convergence, will also feature game demos and discounts. You can see the full list of participating games here.
The expo kicks off at 12 noon EDT (5pm UK Time) next Thursday with GDoCExpo Direct, a broadcast of new game announcements from creators of color, on the event’s YouTube channel.
The event will culminate with an award ceremony, where at least $90,000 in development grants will be awarded. One NY-based developer of color will win the $15,000 Made in NY Grant, while three developers of color will win the Game Devs of Color Expo Grant, receiving $25,000 each.
