Exclusive Pokémon Coin Set Only Available in London Pokémon Center

Celebrating The Pokémon World Championships at ExCel in London

The Pokémon World Championships will arrive at ExCel in London on August 17th-24th and contestants will compete and discover who is the best trainer EVER.

The forthcoming event will also house a Pokémon Centre pop-up store for the duration of its stay and thanks to Serebii, we already have our first look at some of the event’s exclusive merch.

The store will sell two coin sets containing a Pikachu-embossed coin, VSTAR marker and damage markers, all of which are collected in an exclusive case. Collections will be available in two different editions – Main Look and City Set – the cases and coins also differ accordingly.

The coin sets will be among many items that you can purchase at the store when the World Championships kick off. In the previous Pokémon Presents, we also got a slight look at two exclusive plushies of both Pikachu and Roserade.

For now, nothing more has been confirmed but we do expect to additional plushies-galore. You can either visit the store or register for the slot online. You can also come on the day of the championship itself and join the virtual queue.

The store will be open on the following dates and times:

Wednesday, August 17th – 12 pm to 7 pm

Thursday, August 18th – Saturday, August 20th – 8 am to 8 pm

Sunday, August 21st – 8 am to 4 pm
