Club Fomo opened its first real-world location in Phoenix last week. The exclusive NFT social club held its debut in-person event with high-profile guests in attendance such as Shiv Jain, CryptoWendyO and Cordell Broadus. Club Fomo spoke with the press attending the event about its plans to add locations in Dubai and Miami, Florida, by 2023.
The club’s Phoenix location was designed by famed NFT and physical artist Robbie Firestone who also serves as the club’s Creative Director. The space includes an art gallery, event space and NFT development center. Additionally, a state-of-the-art recording studio, green screen and fashion runaway are just some of the amenities the club offers. Members can even book the space for private events.
The NFT state of play
NFTs continue to grow in popularity, with Bored Apes being one of the most famous collections. Now, popular social media platform, Instagram, is adding NFT integration for several platforms, including Ethereum and Polygon. In April, Visa launched its NFT program. Likewise, GameStop recently launched its own Crypto and NFT wallet.
“So far, this project has proven to be a huge success and is raising up the Phoenix art scene to bring prosperity to the beloved neighborhood,” said Club Fomo in the press release.
While Club Fomo is an exclusive club, the Phoenix location will open to the public Monday nights with a focus on Crypto and NFT education and scouting out new talent. The club will hold monthly meetings where guests and members can educate themselves on and purchase NFTS as well as share their NFT projects.
A Virtual Club Fomo will soon be available in the metaverse. In addition, the club’s Street of Dreams NFTs, which grant purchasers membership to the club, will launch on June 10th. For more information, follow Club Fomo on Twitter or visit their website.
