Animoca Brands and Brinc Launching Guild Accelerator Program for Play-To-Earn Guild Ecosystem

Over the next two years, the Guild Accelerator program will invest up to $30 million into guilds.

Animoca Brands and Brinc are partnering to launch their Guild Accelerator Program. Accordingly, the program will help to grow the play-to-earn guild ecosystem worldwide by enabling “millions of people around the world to generate income by participating in P2E gaming via crypto gaming guilds, said Animoca Brands.

Presently, guilds with a commitment to sustainability will receive priority admission to the Guild Accelerator Program. This includes guilds “that support and give back to player/scholar communities, place emphasis on energy-efficient proof-of-stake protocols and side chains, and have lower overall physical footprints.”

Richard Robinson, entrepreneur-in-residence at Animoca Brands, is leading the program, which will fund each guild up to $500,000. Likewise, over the next two years, the Guild Accelerator program will invest up to $30 million.

The Guild Accelerator Program is just one of Animoca Brands’ current projects. Recently, Animoca partnered with Binance to launch a $200 million fund for GameFi. Likewise, Animoca subsidiary, Bondly is developing the MetaPrints metaverse.

According to Animoca Brands, the program will “optimize each guild’s performance and help scale growth, the program will foster innovation, set up management and operational systems, share best-in-class learnings from world-class mentors, expand each platform’s user base and assets and help raise funds beyond the startup phase.”

Guild Accelerator Program Application Open

Guilds can apply for the program online through February 27th, 2022. The Program will operate within Launchpad Luna as a dedicated track with the first cohort starting in May. Additionally, Founder of Avocado Guild, Brendan Wong and head of partnerships for YGG, Saruboti Sasuke, are among the experts supporting the Guild Accelerator Program.

Animoca Brands believes gaming to be the most expansive entertainment industry, with 3.2 billion gamers globally.

“The management of digital assets in games and in the open metaverse represents a significant source of income for hundreds of millions of people,” said Co-founder and executive chairman at Animoca Brands, Yat Siu, “The future of work in the metaverse is being written today, and we are proud to foster the guilds that are driving the evolution of these new opportunities.”
