Destream is Launching a Bank Card for Bloggers and Creators

New bank card will remove localisation charges and make managing donations easier.

Destream

Destream, an international donation platform for streamers and content creators has announced the launch of a new bank card aimed at the audience.

The company aims to increase content creator revenue while also providing different tools which will help improve engagement with the creator’s audience, as well as increase conversion from viewers into donators.

Destream currently allows bloggers and streamers to receive donations for content generated from popular social media platforms like YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, etc. Content creators can receive donations in any currency and through an incredibly wide selection of payment methods due to the wide geographical coverage that Destream has.

Using the new debit card from destream, bloggers and streamers don’t need to transfer donations to their bank accounts, which means that they don’t undergo extra fees. It’s a clear move toward international, rather than nation-locked banking.

CFO of destream, Tachat Igityan stated, “According to destream users, it is easier to have one bank card instead of several accounts to receive and withdraw donations from online platforms. Banks can be conservative and don’t always understand the concept of donations, which makes it difficult for bloggers and streamers to receive payments. At the same time, for many people, creating high-quality content on online platforms is becoming the main source of income, so we decided to launch a convenient solution for this new user category.

Destream’s new service is aimed at helping users who face issues when withdrawing donations through banks. According to Indeed, full time bloggers earn more than $37,000 per year, and the larger their audience, the more chances they have of receiving large payments through donations and platform subscriptions.

The new bank card for creators will be issued upon request and will be available to registered destream users from the third quarter of 2022. The card can also be pre-ordered at destreamcard.com.
